Rheos started with a husband-and-wife team in Charleston who lost one too many pairs overboard. The first two floating styles sold out in 2016, and the line has been built around the same idea since: eyewear you stop worrying about. The whole company still operates out of Charleston: every frame is designed here, every wholesale order ships from here, and every support email is answered here.
